Strategic consultancy

Sometimes our involvement is exclusively in the planning process but mostly we follow through to implementation.  Either way, we are heavily strategic in the planning of projects and campaigns and start by focusing minds on questions such as:

  • What issue or need are you addressing?
  • How will success be defined/measured?
  • Do your aspirations match your budget?
  • Should you be looking for partners?  If so who?
  • What mix of communication tools will you need to reach your audience?

If you’re starting from scratch with a new idea, it needs to stand up to scrutiny.  A well considered and presented feasibility document covering the case for the project, the opportunities it could afford and the likely challenges, could speed the path to the necessary approval and help you manage expectations.

“The work and input from Marcie and the Foundry House exceeded the original brief and added considerable value to the project. Having introduced Marcie to the ICS, I was delighted at the professional and pragmatic approach that the Foundry House took.”James Tweed (former member of the Institute for Chartered Shipbroking Centenary committee)

“Marcie helped us work up proposals with a view to establishing the feasibility of an EU Summit focused on low carbon issues and opportunities. Her experience of communications, stakeholder engagement and events was invaluable as we needed to take a big picture view on how the event might work, what marketing investment it would need to drive registrations and whether sponsorship was a deal breaker or not.  I would have no hesitation in seeking advice from Marcie and her team again in future.”David Morrall, Director, Europe & International, EEDA
