The information about the Life Sciences investment forum that we’re delivering for UKTI went live online earlier this week. IBIZ Invest gives companies in the life sciences sector the chance to pitch to an invited audience of investors. It will take place on 9 March 2011, as part of IBIZ, hosted by UK Trade & Investment.
UK companies from across the life sciences spectrum are invited to apply and, if selected, will pitch to an audience of investors comprising business angels, venture capitalists and corporate venturers. Pitching companies will be a combination of early stage and established businesses, looking for a range of funding opportunities. The panel is really strong and includes the likes of Andy Richards (Cambridge Angels), John Shields (Abingworth) and Andrew Elder (Albion).
